Climate change and air quality are two interrelated environmental issues that increasingly require serious attention worldwide. This problem is largely triggered by human activities including vehicle emissions, fuel combustion, industrial activities, and waste burning. As a result of this problem, several potential natural disasters include heat waves, storms, floods, and droughts and cause various health problems, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, school children and toddlers. The method of activity carried out is to provide education in the form of socialization and simulation to target school children and community groups in Panampuang Village for 1 week. After educating school children and the community through evaluation with a questionnaire, it was found that they understood
the effect of air quality on health and had a positive attitude to make
prevention efforts so as not to experience health problems due to
climate change and air quality.
