PENERAPAN METODE KOMUNIKASI, INFORMASI DAN EDUKASI PADA KELOMPOK IBU BALITA DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI POSYANDU NAGARI SARIAK
Abstract
In order to improve the quality of life of Indonesian people and build Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages, this is the main program in the formation of human resources. But overshadowed by stunting. Where Indonesia is currently having problems with stunting. The results of the 2013 Basic Health Research (Riskedas) showed the prevalence of stunting reached 37.2%. Monitoring of Nutritional Status in 2016, reached 27.5%. The method of implementing this service activity is to provide Communication, Information and Education (KIE) to the group of mothers under five at the Posyandu Nagari Sariak. The intervention activities carried out were IEC regarding stunting and the factors causing it, providing information media in the form of bookleats and leaflets. From this activity, it is hoped that the puskesmas officers can provide education to the community about the importance of maintaining nutrition during adolescence and pregnancy.
