Non-hemorrhagic stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is interrupted due to the buildup of plaque or a blood clot that blocks a blood vessel through the process of atherosclerosis. The Bobath method is one approach that focuses on normal movement patterns by improving postural control and selective movements. This study aims to determine the effect of the Bobath method on the independence in daily activities of post-stroke non-hemorrhagic patients at the DR. Drs. M. Hatta Brain Hospital in Bukittinggi. This research is a quasi-experimental study using a one group pretest-posttest design, involving a single group of subjects who were assessed before and after receiving the intervention to evaluate its effect. The population consisted of 2,379 patients, with a sample of 10 participants. The study was conducted over a period of four weeks. Based on the Wilcoxon test, a p-value of 0.004 (p < ?) was obtained, indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that the Bobath method has a significant effect on the independence in daily activities of post-non-hemorrhagic stroke patients at DR. Drs. M. Hatta Brain Hospital, Bukittinggi, in 2023
