Indonesia is the second country with the highest burden due to Tuberculosis (TBC) in the world after India,
which recorded 1.02 million cases in 2021. The discovery of TB suspects and cases in Payakumbuh City
since 2018 has not reached its target. This study aims to understand more deeply the phenomenon of
policies, human resources, funds, infrastructure, planning, and implementation of contact investigations
for TB case discovery in the Health Center. This type of research is qualitatively descriptive with a
phenomenological approach. The informants studied were 8 people. Data analysis is carried out using the
stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study showed that the
implementation of contact investigations at the Lampasi Health Center has been guided by PMK number
67 of 2016 and Presidential Regulation number 67 of 2019 and guided by Guidelines for the implementation
of TB contact investigations, for health workers, cadres, funds and sufficient infrastructure, manpower is
still lacking, planning and evaluation, the implementation of TB IC has not gone well. The conclusion of
the TB IK program activities in general has not been able to achieve the suspect target or the achievement
of the TB cases set. To maximize future TB IC activities, it is necessary to maximize the management
function
