HUBUNGAN SANITASI LINGKUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI NAGARI SIALANG KECAMATAN KAPUR IX KABUPATEN 50 KOTA

Stunting As the worst problem in the world due to lack of nutrition, stunting is caused by many things.
From the 2018 riskesdas data, we know that stunting occurred in Nagari Sialang at 31.24%, District 50
Cities at 23.3%, and in children at 59%. The aim of this research is to see the relationship between
environmental cleanliness and the number of stunting cases. Mixed methods and sequential exploratory
designs were used in this work. Cross-sectional quantitative study method. The total population was 304
toddlers and the sample was 75 toddlers. The number of respondents was 49 people (65.3%) in Nagari
Sialang, Kapur IX District, 50 Kota Regency. This research explains that the majority of sanitation does
not meet standards, the P-Value is 0.002, which means the condition of environmental sanitation
(availability of clean water, rubbish and waste dump) is related to the incidence of stunting among
toddlers in Nagari Sialang, Kapur IX District, 50 Kota Regency. The conclusion of this research is that
environmental sanitation is related to the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Nagari Sialang, Kapur
IX District, 50 Kota Regency.
