ANALISIS PRIORITAS MASALAH KESEHATAN DI KOTA BUKITTINGGI TAHUN 2024 : HIV SEBAGAI MASALAH UTAMA

Abstract

The issue of communicable and non-communicable diseases is always on the rise. The health profile data from the Bukittinggi City Health Office from 2020 to 2024 shows that both communicable and non-communicable diseases continue to increase each year. The purpose of this health problem analysis is to determine the priority of communicable and non-communicable disease issues in Bukittinggi City. The study design is observational descriptive. Analysis was conducted from January to February 2025. Determination of problem priorities using the USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) method and analysis of priority problem causes using Fishbone. The priority health issues are infectious diseases, namely HIV (score 12.00), tuberculosis (score 11.80), and dengue fever (score 11.33). The high number of HIV cases in Bukittinggi City is due to the weak implementation of HIV surveillance, limited early detection services such as mobile VCT, and a lack of cross-sector coordination and resource support. This situation is exacerbated by limited public education and high population mobility in Bukittinggi City, which increases the risk of HIV transmission. The main health priority issue in Bukittinggi City is HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). Efforts to prevent and control infectious diseases must be carried out appropriately through advocacy, cross-sector partnerships, networking, and adequate program funding
