Excessive online gaming behavior is one factor that can trigger children to develop oppositional defiant disorder. This disorder is characterized by defiant behavior, disobedience to orders, and provocative behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of contract behavior intervention in children experiencing oppositional defiant disorder due to online gaming behavior. This study used a quantitative experimental approach with a single-case pre-test post-test design. The study participant was an 11-year-old sixth-grade elementary school student with oppositional defiant disorder. The assessment techniques used in this study included observation, interviews, and psychological testing tools, aimed at exploring the subject's problems in depth and strengthening the diagnosis. The researchers used contract behavior intervention to address oppositional defiant disorder in children. The intervention was given in four sessions with a duration of approximately 60-90 minutes. The results of this study indicate that contract behavior therapy intervention is effective for children with oppositional defiant disorder.
