Safe and high quality drinking water is a basic necessity for the community. However, refill drinking water is often a concern due to the potential for microbial contamination, including Coliform bacteria. This study aims to identify the presence of Coliform bacteria in refill drinking water from depots in 7 Ulu Subdistrict, Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang City in 2025. The method used is the Most Probable Number (MPN), which involves two stages: presumptive and confirmed tests. Samples were randomly collected from 5 refill water depots in the area. The test results showed that some samples were positive for Coliform bacteria, indicating non-compliance with the drinking water quality standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation Number 2 of 2023. This study emphasizes the importance of regular monitoring and control of refill drinking water quality to ensure public health.
