Abstract

The teaching and learning process in Indonesia is currently experiencing a lot of development, teachers and lecturers have many choices of methods to be used in the classroom according to the teaching subjects being taught, along with developments in technology, the world of education is also experiencing changes and developments in this technological era and this is underutilized in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Moreover, there is a lack of use of learning media that can make it easier for students to understand everyday lessons. Meanwhile, currently education is also being prepared for the younger generation to be able to survive and be able to adapt to the world of technology. This research aims to develop knowledge of animation-based interactive learning media to improve adolescent health at SMA 10 Padang. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The subjects of this research were all teenage students in Class X at SMA 10 Padang. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire in the form of Googleform. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques in the form of both qualitative and quantitative data with SPSS version 23.0 software. The research results show that the development of animation-based interactive learning media to increase adolescent knowledge regarding reproductive health shows valid results with an average percentage value of 58.97%. The student evaluation item is valid (r= 0.553) and the item is reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.807. Interactive animation-based media as a learning medium for introducing reproductive health is suitable for use as a learning medium.
