Radiological installations in hospitals certainly have dangers, especially for officers in the radiology room. Long-term and continuous exposure to staff in the radiology room can threaten their health and life. Therefore, protective equipment is needed that protects them from radiation exposure. The available Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is still incomplete and the use of PPE on radiographers is not routinely used because they feel safe, when the use of PPE slows down the examination time for patients due to heavy PPE. This study aims to find out the overview of radiation protection personal protective equipment (PPE) management from the aspects of input, process, and output. A type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach method. Carried out in the radiology installation of dr. Adnaan WD Payakumbuh from August 2023 to June 2024. In-depth interviews were conducted with informants 1 room head, 1 radiation protection officer (PPR), 3 radiographers. The validity test of the data using source triangulation and triangulation techniques is presented in the form of tables. The results of the research which include inputs, in terms of human resources, have been sufficient, funding has experienced budget constraints, lack of socialization of policies, facilities and infrastructure not met service standards, report recordings are always made for maintenance is always maintained. The process, health monitoring has not been carried out again, protection training is only followed by Radiation Protection Officers (PPR), dose limits using TLD tools have not been implemented, there is still repetition of photos at examinations. The output, implementation of radiation protection personal protective equipment (PPE) management has not been carried out in accordance with PERKA BAPETEN No.4 of 2020
