PENGARUH KELAS KURSUS CALON PENGANTIN (SUSCATIN) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP CALON PENGANTIN WANITA TENTANG KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI DI KUA KECAMATAN WAWAY KARYA KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR TAHUN 2024

Abstract

Based on the data source of the 2021 performance report, it is known that there are 283,833 pregnant
women with Lila < 23.5 cm (at risk of SEVERITY) out of 3,249,503 pregnant women measured by
Lila, so it is known that pregnant women in Indonesia with a risk of SEVERITY are 8.7% (Kemenkes
RI, 2021). The impact of high-risk pregnancies is the occurrence of miscarriage, fetal distress,
premature pregnancy, and poisoning in pregnancy. This research uses an analytic survey or research
that explores how and why this health phenomenon occurs. Then analyze the dynamics of the
correlation between phenomena or between risk factors and effect factors. Type of quantitative
research with a two group pre post approach. The subjects in this study were all prospective brides
(catin) women at the KUA of Waway Karya District, East Lampung Regency in 2024. Bivariate
analysis in this study used an independent sample t-test.The results of the study obtained from the
intervention group the average knowledge before and after suscatin was -.700 with a standard
deviation of 0.657. There is an effect of the prospective bride course class (suscatin) on increasing the
knowledge of prospective brides (catin) women about reproductive health at the KUA of Waway
Karya District, East Lampung Regency in 2024, obtained a p-value of 0.000. It is known that from the
intervention group the average attitude before and after suscatin is -.300 with a standard deviation of
0.571. The results of the statistical test obtained a p-value: 0.030, it can be concluded that there is an
effect of the prospective bride course class (suscatin) on the attitude of prospective brides (catin)
women about reproductive health at the KUA of Waway Karya District, East Lampung Regency in
2024, obtained a p-value of 0.030. It is expected that catin always follow premarital guidance
activities carried out by the KUA.
